What is Domestic violence? It is a pattern of abusive behaviors used by one person to gain power and control over another in an intimate or family relationship, and it can be physical, emotional, verbal, sexual, or financial.

You are not alone! You are seen! You deserve safety, healing, and hope!
The Pink Feather Project advocates for survivors of domestic violence. Any individuals currently experiencing abuse, and communities seeking education and prevention resources.
We support women, men, and families who have been impacted by domestic violence especially those who feel isolated, unheard, or unsure where to turn. We advocate for youth and community leaders to further help break generational cycles.
Fostering Hope and Strength for Survivors
The Pink Feather Project operates at the intersection of awareness, education, and survivor support-led by lived experience and grounded in compassion.
Founded by survivor and advocate Sidvina Lindsey of the Hampton Roads area, our work is rooted in compassion and driven by advocacy. We believe no one should suffer in silence, and we are committed to amplifying survivor voices, breaking down stigma, and creating safe, judgment-free spaces where honest conversations spark awareness, healing, and change. Through education, outreach, and support, we empower survivors to reclaim their strength, and know they are not alone.
Through community engagement, advocacy, and events, we stand with individuals affected by abuse, support access to trusted resources, and reinforce that love should never cause harm.
